We had been scheduled to go to a third sanctuary but the number of butterflies was so small there, that our guides deemed it not worth the time. Instead we returned to ROSARIO SANCTUARY with blue skies and enough warmth that the butterflies were very active. It was our best viewing. There were butterflies flying all over the place, up in the  high OYAMEL trees, on branches, in the air, on us, on the ground. It was marvelous. Like being in a Monarch Cathedral. Hard to leave such a glorious scene.
