Kangaroo Valley, is a valley along the Kangaroo River in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, Australia. It is a charming village known for its historic bridge, tea rooms and pies. It's also a popular destination for kayaking, canoeing, golf and wine tasting. We had friends with whom we stayed a few years enjoying the most sublime, pampered vacations ever….we remember those years fondly.
Often compared to San Francisco, Sydney is one of the two main cities of Australia….. I loved climbing its bridge, going to the opera at its fabled Opera House
Visiting their children, our pals, Sibby and bob Brasler, invited us to join them. Many Beach is one of the healthiest environments for growing up I ever saw. Everything and everyone is involved in healthy pursuits swimming before taking the ferry to Sydney and their jobs etc….
Mount Kosciuszko is mainland Australia's highest mountain, at2,228 metres ( 7,310 ft) above sea level. It is located on the
Main Range of the Snowy Mountains.
One of our favorite things to do anywhere, really, is to get in a car and just go! In 2010, we drove from Sydney, NSW to Melbourne, VIC.
We were joined by frequent traveling companion, Ron Sampson. It was a scenic and sparsely populated route. Wonderful scenery, beaches, and small towns.
